vy-ecom-telemetry

Storefront analytics without the tag-manager sprawl.

vy-ecom-telemetry is the plumbing behind the Ecommerce Console's revenue and order snapshots — a small, dependency-light package instead of a full tag-manager install, for teams that want the numbers without shipping a third-party script to every page.

added to checkout latency

Fire-and-forget by design

The server sender doesn't block or retry on failure — a dropped event never slows down a checkout request, because telemetry is the last thing that should be allowed to hold up a sale.

Scroll and dwell, not just page views

The browser tracker reports how far someone scrolled and how long they stayed, which is closer to "did they actually look at the product" than a raw pageview count.

UA and referrer parsing included

Device type and traffic source come pre-parsed instead of raw strings, so a console's revenue view can group by "mobile" or "organic search" without writing a parser first.
